If you had thirty days to live, what would you do?
I’m sure a lot of you are thinking, travel the world, or do some extreme activity like bungee jumping or skydiving. I don’t know about you, but if I had thirty days to live, it sure would be a busy month! There would be no time to travel from Hawaii to Europe then down to South America, learn how to play the ukulele, take up a new language and renovate my kitchen all in thirty days!
When I say “thirty days to live” I don’t mean… and then you die… I mean, how could you get in touch with your inner self? How could you connect with new experiences?
To answer these questions, I have decided to commit to a new experience every 30 days for the next year. This will include practicing yoga, trying a new recipe every day, saying “yes” when presented with a new opportunity, etc. Throughout each experience or challenge, I will reflect daily and produce a compilation of my weekly findings. I will discuss health effects, personal pros and cons, and an overall review of what value I was able to attain throughout each process.
Why not truly live while you’re alive?
