Practice Yoga – Week Two is Through!

Made it through week two of my 30 Days to Live Challenge #1, and this week was very different from the last. Amid a new schedule change at work resulting in later hours, I sadly must say that I did not make it to my mat at all this week.

Being honest about not committing to the challenge that I have set in place for myself is very disheartening. Heck, I contemplated even writing about this! Thought I’d skip this week, chalk it up to holiday fever and continue on, ignoring the fact that I had essentially skipped 1/4th of my first challenge.

There’s definitely a level of embarrassment that comes with putting your failure out in the open. On the other hand, I think it’s important to share this side to the challenge as well. WE ARE ALL HUMAN and we all set goals for ourselves. Sometimes they are easily achieved, while others require unplanned bumps in the road. Expressing the lows are just as important as the highs. Tomorrow is another day, and it shall be seized!
